JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM IN VIETNAM

Have you ever thought about volunteering overseas? Are you a qualified swimming teacher, lifeguard or photographer? Are you an Australian citizen? We have the perfect adventure for you! This is an opportunity to be involved in rewarding humanitarian work!

As part of our project we run annual drowning prevention clinics for children in the Dong Thap Province (previously known as Tien Giang Province). The communities we work with are located along the Mekong River which is the source of life for over one and a half million people. Ironically the river is also an omnipresent hazard for children and adults who live and work along the banks of the river. Children do not know how to swim and sadly education about water safety is limited. Our team is on a mission to make an impact on the devastating drowning rates through the provision of education and skills.

Each year we have opportunities for lifeguards, teachers and photographers to join our team in Vietnam for a week of volunteering. Lifeguards and teachers spend each morning providing Community Education sessions in local and remote primary schools. After a delicious lunch, the team heads to the pool for the afternoon for our drowning prevention clinics. Our volunteer photographer spends each day capturing lasting memories in and out of the pool.
