2025 VOLUNTEER TRIP
Our Australian volunteers returned once again to My Tho City in January 2025. We had a blast back in the pool running our Drowning Prevention Clinics and also visited heaps of local and remote schools with our Community Education sessions.
Introducing our amazing team of teachers and lifeguards who made up the 2025 team:
Nikki McNamara, Bev Christmass, Nola Osborne, Casey Willmore, Sophie Willmore, Abbey Sheppard, Amy Gilmore, Sydney Midgley, Teleya Beattie, Brenton Tenaglia, Trudi Cross, Emily Wood, Jasmine Maung, Natasha Arumugam, and our incredible translators Sally and Khanh.
These volunteers funded their own expenses for travel and accommodation and kindly shared their time and expertise providing vital skills and information to these communities.
2024 LOUIS MAGEE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The 2024 scholarship recipients were Mr Linh and Mr Phuoc from My Tho City. They visited Perth and Albany in October 2024 and embraced the adventure. They enjoyed the exchange of skills and knowledge, made new friendships and went home with many special memories.
